💰 Pay Scale

  • PwBD: Up to 45 years

🎓 Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution listed in Part-I of the Dentists Act, 1948
  • Or, Dental qualification obtained up to 01.11.1972 (Part-II of the Schedule)
  • Or, Dental qualification from outside India (only for Indian citizens) listed in Part-III of the Schedule
  • Or, Foreign-qualified Indian citizens who passed Screening Test (as per 2009 regulation)
  • Must be registered with any State Dental Council or Tribunal in India
  • Completion of Compulsory Rotating Internship (CRI) – Candidates yet to complete may apply but must finish before appointment
Note: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of UPSC for well-qualified candidates.

🩺 Duties

  • Handling OPD and indoor patients at Safdarjung Hospital and Dr. RML Hospital
  • Providing medical care to Central Government employees and CGHS beneficiaries
  • Any other official duties as assigned
